Medroxyprogesterone is used for:

Treating certain menstrual problems or uterine problems (eg, abnormal bleeding, endometrial hyperplasia). It may also be used for treating certain conditions as determined by your doctor.

Medroxyprogesterone is a progestin hormone. It works by altering the lining of the uterus.

Do NOT use Medroxyprogesterone if:

• If you miss a dose of Medroxyprogesterone , take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.

Important safety information:

• PREGNANCY and BREAST-FEEDING: Do not use Medroxyprogesterone if you are pregnant. If you suspect that you could be pregnant, contact your doctor immediately.
